In recent years, Laurie's students have been accepted to all of the University of California campuses, Brown University, Brandeis, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Emory, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, Northwestern, New York University, University of Chicago, University of Southern California, and Williams College. Many of her students receive merit awards worth more than a hundred thousands dollars along with their acceptances. Laurie believes in applying early action and early decision, whenever possible, to help maximize the final choices and scholarship money.
